Ice Hockey fans in all over the world, this year IIHF World Championship 2022 will be hosted by Finland from 13 to 29 May, 2022. There are two host cities in Finland : Tampere & Helsinki – Nokia Arena will serve the main venue of the competition. The groups were announced on 7th June, 2021. IIHF Men’s World Championship 2022 Groups

Sixteen teams divided into two groups will compete in the preliminary round. Each team will play the other seven teams in their group over the course of the first 12 days of the competition ending on May 24.

The top four teams in each group after the prelims will advance to the quarterfinals. After the semifinals, the bronze-medal and gold-medal games will take place on May 29.

IIHF World Championship 2022 Participating team will divided into two group – A and B.

Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Slovakia, Denmark, Kazakhstan, Italy & France

Group B :

Finland, United States, Latvia, Norway, Czech Republic, Sweden, Great Britain & Austria
